They are currently attending medical school in, respectively, New Haven, Philadelphia, Cincinnati, and Providence. Deirdre Lewis ’11

After leaving Vassar, Dr. Deirdre Lewis completed her medical degree at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and completed her Internal Medicine/Pediatric Residency at University of Massachusetts-Baystate Medical Center. She is currently pursuing a fellowship in pediatric critical care (PICU) at a New York City area hospital.

Dr. Seth Doolin is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist. He is the Director of Neuropsychology at Lemuel Shattuck Hospital in Boston, and also has his own private practice. He has worked in public health clinics, for-profit educationally based assessment/career based centers, and psychiatric hospitals, in neuropsychological and psychological assessment capacities.

As Associate Professor of Pediatric Infectious Diseases, General Internal Medicine, and Occupational and Environmental Medicine at Duke University and Associate Research Professor at the university’s Global Health Institute, Dr. Paul Lantos oversees the management of COVID-19-infected university employees and healthcare workers and conducts research in the spatial epidemiology of infectious disease.

Christine Yu Moutier ’90

Dr. Christine Yu Moutier ’90 is Chief Medical Officer at the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. She received her medical degree in psychiatry at the University of California, San Diego, and went on to become a practicing psychiatrist, professor of psychiatry, a dean in the medical school, and Medical Director of the Inpatient Psychiatric Unit at the VA Medical Center in La Jolla, CA. She has provided testimony and briefs on suicide prevention before the U.S. Congress and has even presented at the White House.

Dr. Navin Ariyaprakai is double boarded in Emergency Medicine and EMS & Disaster Medicine. He has been responding to EMS calls since 2000. Dr. Navin, as he is known, currently works as the Program Director for EMS & Disaster Fellowship at Newark (NJ) Beth Israel.

Jeb Weisman ’82

Jeb Weisman, PhD, is the Director of Global Health Informatics at the Arnhold Institute for Global Health (AIGH) within the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York. He is responsible for leading a team of software engineers, machine learning experts, data scientists, and researchers to build analytics and visualization tools and platforms at the AIGH. The Institute’s premiere analytics platform, ATLAS, supports transformative public health work on local and global scales, as well as providing a resource for researchers and policy-makers.
